How to Install ESET Management Agent

  1. Click the link and download "PROTECTAgentInstaller.tar.gz" on your desktop.
  2. To unzip the tar.gz file, double-click on its icon.
  3. In the Finder, open the /Applications/Utilities folder, then double-click Terminal.

  4. Enter the commands below.

    cd Desktop
bash PROTECTAgentinstaller.sh
  5. If you Mac ask you enter your password, enter it and clock on "OK".

How to Install ESET Endpoint Security for macOS

  1. Click the link and download "ees_osx_en.dmg" on your desktop.
  2. Double-click "ees_osx_en.dmg".
  3. Click "Install ESET Endpoint Security".
  4. Click "Continue" if no other security applications are installed.
  5. Review the system requirements and click "Continue".
  6. Read the ESET Software License Agreement and click "Continue" → "Agree".
  7. Select "Typical(recommended)" and click "Continue".
  8. Select "Enable ESET LiveGrid(R)feedback system(reommended) and click "Continue".
  9. Select "Enable detection of potentially unwanted applications" and click "Continue".
  10. Click "Install".

How to Activate ESET Endpoint Security for macOS

  1. When the product activation screen appears, click "Use a purchased License Key".
  2. Type or copy/paste ESET License Key into the License Key field and click "Continue". The Key is listed on this page.
  3. When the message "The installation was successful" appears, click "Done".
