How to Install ESET Management Agent
- Click the link and download "PROTECTAgentInstaller.tar.gz" on your desktop.
- To unzip the tar.gz file, double-click on its icon.
- In the Finder, open the /Applications/Utilities folder, then double-click Terminal.
Enter the commands below.
cd Desktop bash PROTECTAgentinstaller.sh
- If you Mac ask you enter your password, enter it and clock on "OK".
How to Install ESET Endpoint Security for macOS
- Click the link and download "ees_osx_en.dmg" on your desktop.
- Double-click "ees_osx_en.dmg".
- Click "Install ESET Endpoint Security".
- Click "Continue" if no other security applications are installed.
- Review the system requirements and click "Continue".
- Read the ESET Software License Agreement and click "Continue" → "Agree".
- Select "Typical(recommended)" and click "Continue".
- Select "Enable ESET LiveGrid(R)feedback system(reommended) and click "Continue".
- Select "Enable detection of potentially unwanted applications" and click "Continue".
- Click "Install".
How to Activate ESET Endpoint Security for macOS
- When the product activation screen appears, click "Use a purchased License Key".
- Type or copy/paste ESET License Key into the License Key field and click "Continue". The Key is listed on this page.
- When the message "The installation was successful" appears, click "Done".
