Some of the services are will become available after taking you complete the information literacy guidance on through e-learning and passing pass the quiz.
Please activate the service by following the steps below after you finish both of them.

Activation is only possible from the campus network ( KITnetX, Shared computers in seminar room, study room, library, computers in laboratories ) .Services can only be activated by following one of the options below:

Connect your device to the university's wireless LAN(KITnetX).
Use the a shared computers PC in the seminar room, /study room , libraryor the University Library.
Use the computers in laboratories.a PC in a laboratory on campus.

If you are a working student or have difficulty coming to the university, please contact us via the support desk at https://helpdesk.cis.kit.ac.jp/Please activate with any of the above.

Before starting, please close all browsers.

Launch your browser and access the homepage of Center for Information Science.
Center for Information Science HP :
https://cis.kit.ac.jp/en/
Click Users Portal ( Change Password ) from Web Services at the top of the page.
Enter your username and password and click Login.
Click User Information Management.
Select the language you wish to use from the pull-down menu near the top right of the page.
Click Request a role.
Click Add to Cart in the service you want to activate.
Last, click Go to Shopping Cart.
Click Request.
The setting is completed when the following message is displayed.
