Problem

When I try to set my university email address in the Gmail App , it displays "cannot connect to the outgoing server" even though I entered the correct information on settings screen.

Solution

Our Email system does not allow sent from off-campus networks, and so it is not possible to connect to the outgoing Sever.

* If you use the Gmail app, it will be accessing from an off-campus network.

Please use Webmail from off-campus.
