macOS のメールアプリで大学メールアドレスを利用するための手順を説明します。

注意

学外回線・eduroam に接続している場合は、あらかじめ Web メールで多要素認証を行ってください。

メールアプリを起動
（すでに別のメールアドレスでお使いの場合）メニューのメール＞アカウントを追加をクリック
その他のメールアカウントを選択して続けるをクリック
名前欄にメール送信者として使う名前、メールアドレス欄に大学メールアドレス、パスワード欄にCISアカウントのパスワードを入力してサインインをクリック
エラーメッセージが表示されて追加の入力欄が表示されたら、ユーザ名欄に電子メール用ユーザ名、アカウントの種類欄にIMAP、受信用メールサーバ欄に imapmail.cis.kit.ac.jp、送信用メールサーバ欄に smtpmail.cis.kit.ac.jp を入力してサインインをクリック

This guide explains how to configure your university email address in the macOS Mail app.

These instructions are specific to macOS Sequoia 15.0. The steps and terminology may vary slightly in other versions.

注意
Note for Off-Campus Users: If you are connected to an off-campus network or using eduroam, please complete multi-factor authentication (MFA) through webmail before proceeding.

Launch the Mail app on your Mac.
If you are already using the Mail app with another email account:
Click Mail in the top menu bar and select Add Account.
Select Other Mail Account..., then click Continue.
In the setup window, fill in the following fields:
Name: Enter the name you want displayed as the sender.
Email Address: Enter your university email address.
Password: Enter your CIS account password.
Click Sign In.
If you see an error message and additional fields appear:
Enter the following details:
Username: Your email username.
Account Type: Select IMAP.
Incoming Mail Server: Enter the URL for the incoming mail server (imapmaill.cis.kit.ac.jp).
Outgoing Mail Server: Enter the URL for the outgoing mail server (smtpmail.cis.kit.ac.jp).
Click Sign In again.
