Step by step guide

1. Access the following URL to access the GakuNin Cloud Gateway Service.
   https://cg.gakunin.jp/
2. Click , select Kyoto Institute of Technology, and click Select.
   
3. When the following screen appears, log in.
   

4. If you are logging in to the GakuNin Cloud Gateway Service for the first time, a confirmation screen regarding information transmission will be displayed.

   Check the contents and click Agree.

   
5. Click Microsoft Office 365.
   

6. When the confirmation screen regarding information transmission appears, click Agree.

   ※ Please make a note of the User ID in "Information sent to the service" as it will be used later.

   
   
7. Click Continue.
   

8. If the following screen appears, check the boxes as necessary and click Yes.

   If you select No, you will be asked to sign in more frequently.

   

9. Select Apps, click Install apps, and then click Microsoft 365 Apps.

10. ClickClick Install app, then click Install Office to download the installer.
    Once the download is complete, double-click the installer to run it , and follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the installation.

11. When the installation is complete, the license activation screen will be displayed. If it does not appear, start Word and click click Sign in when the following screen appears.
    
    If it does not appear when you start Word, click Sign In in the upper left corner of the Word screen.
    
    

    When the following screen appears, enter the User ID noted in step 6 under "Information to be sent to the service" and click Next.
    
    ※If you did not make a note of it, you can check it again by clicking the icon at the bottom left of the screen in step 9.

    
    
12. When the following screen appears, log in.
    
13. When the following confirmation screen for sending information appears, click Agree.
    
14. Click Agree.
    
15. Launch Word and if u……@o365.kit.ac.jp (enrolling in 2022 or earlier) or f……@o365.kit.ac.jp (enrolling in 2023 or later) is displayed in the upper right corner of the screen, your work is complete.
    
16. Click in the top right corner of the Microsoft 365 page, and then click Sign out.
    
17. Click Menu in the upper right corner of the GakuNin Cloud Gateway Service screen, then click Logout.
