Mac で端末 VPN (FortiGate) を利用する場合の手順を説明します。

Step-Guide

Obtain the necessary access credentials and configuration details required for connection.

1. Sign in to https://vpnt.cis.kit.ac.jp/ using your CIS account.
2. Click the 'Confidential Information for Use' button to take notes of the confidential information for your Mac.

How to set up a client VPN connection on Mac

1. Select [System Preferences] from the Apple menu.
   
2. Click on the "Network" icon at the center of the "System Preferences" screen.
   
3. Click the [+] button at the bottom of the list on the left side of the [Network] screen.
   
4. Enter 'VPN' for "interface", 'Cisco IPSec' for "VPN Type", any name, such as 'KIT-VPN' for "Service Name", and then click the [Create] button.
   
5. Enter 'vpnt.cis.kit.ac.jp' for "Server Address" and your CIS account for "Account Name". Then, click the [Authentication Settings] button.
   
   
6. 【共有シークレット】ラジオボタンを押して、入力欄にメモした共有シークレット、グループ名にメモしたグループ名を入力し、【OK】ボタンを押します。

8. 【詳細...】ボタンを押します。

   【プロキシ】タブを押します。

   【プロキシ自動検出】（もしくは【Auto Proxy Discovery】）にチェックを入れて【OK】ボタンを押します。
   Image Removed【適用】ボタンを押します。Select the [Shared Secret] radio button, enter the shared secret you noted in the input field, input the group name you noted in "Group Name" field, and then click the [OK] button.

9. Click "Advanced..." button.

10. Click "Proxy" tab.

11. Check the checkbox "Auto Proxy Discovery" and click "OK" button.

12. Click "Apply" button.
    

 サービスに接続して端末VPNを利用する

1. アップルメニューの【システム環境設定】を押します。
   
2. 【システム環境設定】画面の中ほどにある、「ネットワーク」アイコンをクリックします。
   
3. 設定した VPN 接続を選んで、【接続】ボタンを押します。
   
4. 情報科学センターのパスワードを入力し、【OK】ボタンを押します。
   
5. 接続成功する状況が【接続済み】になり、VPN接続のステータスが緑色に変化します。
   
6. VPN 接続をご利用ください。

サービスから切断して元のネットワーク接続を利用する

1. アップルメニューの【システム環境設定】を押します。
   
2. 【システム環境設定】画面の中ほどにある、「ネットワーク」アイコンをクリックします。
   
3. 設定した VPN 接続を選び、【接続解除】ボタンを押します。
